PACKAGE
Discipline
A package combining the power of the AutoNode, NodeRestrict, VirtualNodes and HideNotCreatedVariants packages previously released for Umbraco v8, and adding new functionality in Umbraco 17.
Discipline allows you to keep your back office in order with several rule-based functions that are easy to configure either in your appsettings.json or via its UI inside the Umbraco back office.
- AutoNode: Automatically create new nodes upon publishing a node, based on rules
- NodeRestrict: Restrict number of nodes to be created under a node, based on rules
- VirtualNodes: Hide the url segment of a specific node based on doctype
- HideNotCreatedVariants: Toggle show/hide of non-created variants for languages in the back office
- NodeProtect: Protect nodes from accidental deletion
- AISummaries: Generate AI-based summaries for content nodes in the back office (requires OpenAI or Gemini API key)
- PropertyVersions : Keep track of string / RTE property value changes and display them in the back office, as well as allowing to rollback to previous values

Responsive Images
An image markup generator for both foreground and background images, entirely configuration driven (with rules), and an one-setting switch to Cloudflare responsive images.
It can be used with tag helpers or its API. It supports:
- Cropping with respect for focal points for background images
- Resizing
- 2x/3x variations
- Maximum image dimensions
- Lazy loading
- Low-resolution Image placeholders or blurs
- Quality adjustment
- Respects PNGs.
No external dependencies.
